As a Consultant, how much money can I make?

I wanted to put this question first, because it is the most common. Plus that’s why you started a Paparazzi Accessories business, right?

How much money you make and how fast honestly depends on the effort you put into it. Paparazzi jewelry is such great quality for the price point that it’s easy to sell. Also having the right sponsor and training will help you make money faster as well (plus have more fun). Your main goal is to get the jewelry in front of people. If they don’t see it, they can’t buy it.

Breaking down the numbers:

Consultants order all jewelry and accessories for $2.75 per adult item, which you sell for $5.00 each.  You earn a 45% profit ($2.25) from each piece of jewelry you sell. (The Starlet Shimmer items are in sets of 10 for $5.00, which you sell for $1.00 each totaling $10.)

You can also earn commissions from your Paparazzi Accessories business based on your team sales. As you help them grow and succeed, Paparazzi will pay you bonuses in the form of monthly commissions. As your team grows and you advance in rank, your commission grows as well. You can read the “Compensation Plan” for more details. 

Note: Paparazzi has introduced a line of jewelry called the Zi Collection which retails for more than $5. It’s up to you, if you want to carry that line. The amount you earn and PV for these items are different. We can give you more information about that when you contact us.

Where Can I Sell Paparazzi?

Paparazzi is really lenient on where and how we can sell the jewelry. There are very few restrictions on working your Paparazzi Accessories business compared to some of the other companies out there. We can sell pretty much anywhere offline and almost anywhere online.

Offline there are no territories. So if you find an event or place to sell your jewelry, sell it. Keep in mind though that there can only be one Paparazzi consultant booth per event and only Paparazzi items can be sold in the booth. Read more about selling Paparazzi offline.

Online we CAN NOT sell in Facebook groups you aren’t the admin of, eBay, Amazon or similar sites, You can sell on your own Facebook Business Page or Group.

How Can I Sell Paparazzi?
  • Online: Facebook page, your own Facebook group, Instagram, Periscope, etc.
  • Paparazzi replicated website: share your website with others so they can shop the full Paparazzi Accessories inventory (Free with enrollment)
  • Open House or Home parties: It’s a lot of fun. You can just set up and they come shop. Usually each person will buy multiple items since each piece is only $5.
  • Events: Small or huge events are a great way to find new customers offline.
  • Pop-up Shop: Sell within a retail store, salon, senior community, or boutique.
  • You can set up your Paparazzi Accessories business and sell just about anywhere you can think of.
How old do you have to be to sign up?

You have to be at least 18 years old to become an independent consultant with Paparazzi Accessories.

If I Live Outside the United States, Can I Become a Consultant?

At this time, only residents of the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam can become consultants and customers. Paparazzi will also ship to anyone with an APO/FPO address.

How do I sign up to join Paparazzi Accessories?

When you’re ready to start your Paparazzi Accessories business, you’ll fill out your information on our website and choose your starter kit.

What Comes in a Starter Kit?

You’ll choose between 3 different starter kits when you enroll. The starter kit is your initial inventory for your Paparazzi Accessories business, It also has a few business tools in it.

Can I Choose the Items I get in my Paparazzi Jewelry Starter Kit?

No, not at this time. Each starter kit comes with specially selected items with the season’s colors, some best selling pieces, and some exclusive items. You’ll get different styles in order to give you a variety of items for your customer to choose from, and for you to become familiar with the different styles.

After you’ve chosen your starter kit and completed the enrollment process, you can pick and choose the items you’d like. As you sell the different pieces, you’ll get an idea of what your customer’s love so then you can tailor your selection more for them. You can even go back in right after you’re signed up and place an order of any pieces on the website plus the kid’s items.

 What is the Minimum that I Must Buy?

There are no minimum orders with a Paparazzi Accessories business. There are also no MONTHLY requirements to keep your account open. However, you need to order at least 200 PV (100 regular pieces) of inventory within the 12 month rolling period. You do NOT have to order every month to keep your account open and your consultant status. PV: Personal volume, your personal orders or sales from your website.

However, to be eligible for commission bonuses from your downline sales, you must purchase at least 50 PV (25 pieces) per month to get that bonus. Having 50pv in a month means you’re considered “active” for that month. If for some reason, you couldn’t order a particular month, you will lose that month’s team commission. However, you will still receive your profits from your personal retail sales. (Note: At the higher ranks, you would need 100pv or 250pv.)

It would also benefit you to order at least 50pv each month, because you will have access to some of the contests and incentives that Paparazzi Accessories has. Plus you will be listed as a consultant on their website when someone searches for a local consultant.

How Much is Shipping?

When you or your customers order jewelry from Paparazzi, you will have a flat rate shipping fee of just $5.50.  If your order is $100 or more, then shipping is FREE.

When your customers order directly from you through your on hand inventory, you can decide how much shipping to charge. Keep in mind the current postal service rates and costs of packaging when you set your shipping rate. I would recommend having a flat rate because it encourages customers to buy more.

 When Will I Receive My Shipment from Paparazzi?

It really depends on how close you live to Utah. Paparazzi can take up to 5-7 business days to process and ship your order. FedEx may then take up to 3 business days to get it to you. Some smaller orders may ship through USPS. For me, I’ve found my USPS orders usually get to me a little faster.

 What About Sales Tax?

When you order your inventory, you’re charged sales tax on the retail price (not wholesale cost) of the jewelry based on the sales tax rate where the order is delivered.

Paparazzi pays the sales tax to the state/county.  Find out from a tax professional about reporting the sales tax yourself to your state. Make sure they are familiar with direct sales companies and the unique business model that Paparazzi is.

 What is the Return Policy?

When your customers buy something through your Paparazzi replicated website, they can return items to Paparazzi within 10 business days from when they received it. The customer must contact Paparazzi Support at (855) 697-2727 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Paparazzi will also give instructions on how to return the item.

As a consultant, you have three (3) days to look over your inventory when you get it. If there’s something that can’t be repaired, then give support a call. I want to reassure you though that few items are broken and irreparable. If anything, it’s usually just an open jump ring that needs to be closed properly.

You get to decide your return or exchange policy for your customers that buy directly from you. Paparazzi leaves it up to each individual consultant as to what they want to offer. Some people sell it as all sales final, and some offer 3, 5, or even up to a 15 day return/exchange policy. I would suggest you have a lenient policy. This is a relationship business. You don’t want to lose a customer that could spend hundreds ,over a piece of jewelry that costs you $2.75 (which you can write off as damaged on your taxes).

Is the Jewelry Hypoallergenic?

Paparazzi jewelry meets applicable consumer safety laws and regulations in the United States. The metals found in Paparazzi Accessories pieces are primarily made of iron and include other trace minerals. Those trace minerals are made up of a metallic alloy of either zinc, steel, or aluminum. Before our jewelry is sold, Paparazzi tests its jewelry for chemicals of concern using labs that are accepted by the United States Consumer Products Safety Commission. Paparazzi jewelry is required to undergo testing for compliance with California’s Proposition 65, which includes testing for all heavy metals including lead, nickel, cadmium as well as phthalates. California’s Proposition 65 is one of the most stringent consumer laws in the US, and Paparazzi’s jewelry complies with Proposition 65.

Do I Have to Purchase My Marketing Items from Paparazzi?

No. As an Independent Consultant, you are allowed to use the Paparazzi Accessories Independent Consultant logo as you wish. as long as you don’t alter the logo. (You can make it smaller or larger. You just cant change the proportions of the logo.)

You can make your own business cards, banners, posters, flyers, etc.  You can also make your own displays or purchase them from wherever you want. It’s completely up to you. We use companies like VistaPrint, Office Depot, Amazon, etc. You cannot however make items to sell to other consultants.

 Are There Any Catalogs to Look At/Order From?

Paparazzi does not have catalogs. Thank goodness. That’s one less expense we have to have as business owners.

Paparazzi comes out with new inventory almost every day. Plus once something sells out it is gone. Because of this, it would be hard to keep a catalog current.

Your customers can order through your website or by shopping your on hand inventory directly.

Can My Customers Order Directly from the Paparazzi Website?

Yes! Your customers will be able to order through you on your website! The best part about this is that Paparazzi gives us the website for free and ships it directly to the customer for us.
